World wildlife day, the Conservation of wildlife is the duty of every person living on earth. Federal Minister for Climate Change, has emphasized the need to take measures for the awareness and protection of wildlife. To ensure the survival of this valuable asset for future generations.
He said that World Wildlife Day is being celebrated all over the world including Pakistan. The purpose of this day is to spread awareness about wildlife conservation and their rights.
The federal minister stated that to preserve the survival of these priceless resources and assets for future generations, stakeholder participation and public awareness were essential.
World Wildlife Day, according to Senator Sherry Rehman, is observed worldwide, including in Pakistan. She stated that the day’s goal was to raise awareness of wildlife rights and conservation.
Every person living on the earth has a responsibility to preserve nature, wild places, and wildlife, she continued.
The Minister emphasized how significant World Wildlife Day was to Pakistan. “Pakistan is home to wildlife that includes endangered snow leopards, Indus dolphins, deer, birds, and countless more species.
Unfortunately, she claimed that wildlife in Pakistan was under threat because of numerous issues. Inwhich rising population, building, poaching, illegal wildlife trafficking, and pollution.
“We have taken numerous measures to safeguard our wildlife. They include creating protected areas and enforcing laws and regulations to stop illegal wildlife trading and hunting.
