The Honorable Worthy Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob (T.I) inaugurated the land allocated to the Department of Botany for the establishment of the Botanical Garden.
At this Eve Botany students displayed their Spring field Activity in the form of various thematic projects in this allocated field area.
The Honorable Worthy Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum planted tree saplings as an inaugural token and appreciated the hard work and efforts of Chairperson Dr Nargis Naz and her team.
All the faculty members and Students of the Botany Department are determined to develop this research area in the form of Botanical Garden that may serve as a source of Plant Identifications and Centre of Ex-Situ conservation having Seed Bank, native and Exotic Live Plants and Herbarium specimen collections.
