Hands-on Training on Cheese Making

A five-day training program titled “Hands-on Training on Cheese Making” organized by the Department of Dairy Technology, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences under the project “Capacity Building of Dairy Farmers and Industry Stakeholders on Milk Value Chain” finished at the Syndicate Room, UVAS Lahore.

The workshop drew a total of 20 participants (Dairy Farmers, Livestock and Dairy Development Department Officials, Veterinarians, and Industry Personnel).

Trainers from academia and industry were brought in to provide participants with insights on advanced farming, milking, and dairy processing techniques, as well as hands-on training on cream cheese and mozzarella cheese making, supply chain risk assessments, and regulatory requirements for dairy business owners.

Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmed (S.I. ), Vice Chancellor UVAS, co-chaired the closing ceremony with Secretary L&DD, Mr. Muhammad Masoud Anwar, and awarded certificates to participants of the “Capacity Building Project for Milk Value Chain” at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore.
