WPSA Roadmap for Key Poultry Events in 2026, A significant leadership meeting of World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Pakistan was held on May 5, 2026, at the head office of Jadeed Group. The meeting brought together key officials including Secretary General Dr. Farhan Farooq, Dr. Nasir Mukhtar, and Office Coordinator Muhammad Zeeshan Waqar, who met with President Mian Sohaib Javed.
Planning of Upcoming Scientific & Educational Events
During the meeting, participants finalized plans for several upcoming scientific and educational activities. Special focus was given to reviewing arrangements for the 2nd WPSA Student Symposium, scheduled to be held on May 6, 2026, at PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi.
The symposium aims to bring together students, researchers, and poultry industry professionals from across Pakistan, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional networking.
Third Student Symposium & Executive Meeting in Swat
The leadership also discussed plans for the 3rd WPSA Student Symposium, tentatively scheduled for June 12, 2026, at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat. Additionally, an Executive Body meeting of WPSA Pakistan is expected to take place on June 13, 2026, in Swat, where strategic decisions and future directions of the organization will be discussed.
Incubation & Fertility Conference 2026 in Lahore
Another major highlight of the meeting was the detailed discussion on the upcoming Incubation and Fertility Conference, planned for August 22–23, 2026, in Lahore. This conference will be organized by WPSA Pakistan in collaboration with University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore and is expected to be held at Nishat Hotel Lahore. The event will bring together national and international experts from the poultry sector.

At the conclusion of the meeting, all participants reaffirmed their commitment to successfully organizing these events. These initiatives aim to strengthen academic collaboration and contribute effectively to the sustainable growth of Pakistan’s poultry industry.
